Pediatrician Chioma Okeafor, MD Accepting New Patients

MSU Health Care welcomes Chioma Okeafor, MD. Dr. Okeafor received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She completed her residency at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa County Medical Center. Her most recent employment was with Mason Pediatrics, providing care in their outpatient clinic and for newborns at Sparrow Hospital.
Particularly interested in treating underserved groups, Dr. Okeafor has participated in several community service initiatives. She was selected to complete medical rotations in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, participated in medical missions to rural areas in Nigeria with Mercy Medical Foundation and provided care for homeless teens through Phoenix Children's Hospital "Crews'n Health Mobile."
Dr. Okeafor joined our multi-specialty group in December as a board-certified Pediatrician within MSU Child Health. She is adding to our complement of more than 260 providers performing cutting-edge research, teaching medical and nursing students, and providing exceptional care to the Greater Lansing community.
Dr. Okeafor, is a Pediatrician who provides care to the public at MSU Child Health. MSU Child Health has locations in Lansing and East Lansing.
